My new phone is messed up!!

Level 2 tech support was very helpful. After he saw those pictures, he got me a replacement right away.

When you restart / boot smartphone nablyudaetsya this defect, or only when it is already running the OS? Because if everything is fine at boot - it means that the problem is in the software part, if not, then it's definitely a problem with the display or other components, and it is to be exchanged even without question.

I rebooted the phone and powered it off several times. The issue was present during the boot up all times. And it was there while the phone was running. It never went away.

Also, when I factory reset the phone, it came back up with the same issue with the screen.

Since they're swapping it out already, you might need to do a restore anyways. I'm surprised they didn't ask you if you'd already done one in the first place.

I'm surprised they didn't either. But it didn't matter because after I factory reset, the screen was still messed up.

I'm not sure how that would have tasted. Swallowing bits of plastic, metal, and glass would have been problematic. 😜
