My Nokia 6 not turning on after latest android system update

[Android Central Question]

I have Nokia 6 phone, today i got android system update notification once i accept my phone restarts after that i got other notification that need to restart to update you operator setting update once i accept it my phone got switched off and not it is totally dead.

Can someone help me why it could be happened? and what are the possible solutions for that?

This update was from Android not from my carrier, i was wonder that why this message showing for update carrier setting after updating android system but no option other then accept it for restart again

My issue is solved, i found online hard reset options and tried it, it worked.

Just FYI, "Android" (Google) only updates Google phones. If it's not from a carrier, it's from Nokia.

This happened to me too, and I'm unable to reset my phone. It does not respond to power button alone, nor with volume button to boot into recovery. It's 100% bricked.

I posted a thread to XDA Developers, since I can't really use this forum, it keeps telling me to whitelist it with my ad blocker, and even if I disable them from this address I still get the notification.

In short: stock ROM, not altered in any way, connected to mains, 100% battery, official update. Pie update installed, asked to reboot for operator updates, did so, phone never woke up after shutting down. Now it's a brick. Was working fine before.

Pie came with the Feb 2019 security update sent by HMD (the manufacturer) for my Nokia 6. It was a take both or get nothing option.

Did your phone go dead after the update like mine and Nakhan's?

A lot depends on the Nokia 6 model you have (I have a TA-1025). My phone rebooted okay after the Pie system update but the Internet tethering is hosed as in not working. I might end up having to buy another phone.
