My Official N4 charger whistles/squeaks!!

Hi all,

Had my N4 for around 7 - 8 months now, still using the OE charger that came with the phone, I have noticed though that when the phone has fully charged and it's still plugged in the charger makes a kind of funny high pitched whistle/squeaking sound??!!

It's not noticeable when things are going on the room, TV on, folks talking etc but there have been a number of times when I have woken up in the night and I have heard this noise, I switch the plug off at the wall and it stops, also if I unplug the phone from the charger with the socket still switched on it stops?

Just wondering if anyone else had heard this and know what it was?

I'm no EE but it sounds like the shielding in the charger may have gone bad or something to that effect. If it were me I'd probably replace it, chargers are typically inexpensive.
