My Phone has a serious problem

At first the phone would just randomly have the power off option show up randomly and then after it shows that, the phone would abruptly power off seconds later even though I never clicked the button. Then, whenever I charged it, the phone would consistently turn off and on with no end. Afterwards, I unplugged it and tried to do a factory data reset. When my phone opened up again it had all of my apps and everything still so I turned it off. When I turned it on again I got this weird android screen where the robot was partly opened and there were some white letters and such under it that I couldn’t really understand. The screen stayed on for about 5 seconds and then after it showed, the phone turned on and my data remained the same. I then tried to turn it off and on again but it wouldn’t turn on. I tried to do this a lot and then I ultimately let it rest for the night without me touching it. In the morning I charged it since it had died and it just charged as a normal dead phone would (by showing that white battery symbol). I turned it on after than and my lock screen showed and my phone still had all of its information. Then it turned off and whenever I try to turn it on again it will start to open with the Google vibration and the colorful gears and such. Then the gears will become a black screen and the Google vibration comes up again and then it doesn’t open. If i charge it, it repeatedly shows the google vibration. Please help!

Even though I am no expert on this field, I believe there is something that can help. Open the phone up, make sure there is no dust or fluids. When it comes to the power-button issue, there might be something jammed between the buttons. A third tip is to always keep your phone clean, and regularly use an app that removes unnecessary junk.

Vibration caused by charging is indicative of a wet phone. That's usually caused, at this time of year, by bringing a very cold phone inside to a warm humid room. The warm humid air can get into the phone even if water can't, and it condenses on the cold phone, producing water inside the phone. (It's even worse if you have a source of humidity like a large fish tank, or a "falling raindrops" artwork.)

The treatment is the same as for any wet phone - a few baths in 70% or 91% isopropyl alcohol, but don't get your hopes up unless you put it into the alcohol bath within seconds of its getting wet (and don't charge it until it's dry).

The actual solution is to keep phones inside coats, where they'll stay warm. If you'd be uncomfortable in tyhe street without a coat, so will your phone.

(The same problem occurs in the summer, when you take an air-conditioned phone out into a hot humid world. And that's worse, because you can't carry the phone around in air conditioning when you're outside.)
