My phone is stuck in logo loop, won't power on, just restarts itself.

To make the story short, my "water resistant" galaxy S5 fell in the toilet, when i took it out it had a little bit of water in the battery, I dried it out and blew all the holes to get the rest of the water out. Then I placed it in a bowl of rice for a day. When i tried to turn it on, it would turn on, vibrate, show the logo, vibrate and restart and it just keeps restarting.

I can't get into recovery mode either, only into download mode.
So I know it's not dead, it turns on and can remain on because it stays on when download mode is triggered.

So what's the problem? has anyone had this problem before?
