My phone is uncharging itself

I've had my phone charging for the past hour. before it was at 50% now its at 37%. I dont have anything running and the screen was off the whole time. What the hell? HTC better get it together and fix this battery issue.

sounds like it wasnt plugged in but maybe you have some runaway process...

Exact same thing happened to me. Went to bed with 19% battery woke up with 83%

Was it plugged into the HTC charger? or USB into your laptop?

Also have you updated the blockbuster app and set it not to update? that is a runaway process that is hurting many folks.

Its been plugged into the USB on my computer. I dont see why they didn't put a bigger battery in it. the thunderbolt consumes more power than most phones but has a smaller battery than most. Why didn't they think of that? quick fix

Even my OG Droid had problems when plugged into a computer, took all day to charge. As for the battery problems on the Thunderbolt, what battery problem.
I can go 15 hours on a charge and I am a moderate user. I absolutely love this phone. I did buy the extended battery for when I travel though.

I just unplugged it from my USB and plugged it into my portable charger. Its charging at about 1% per minute now.

I'm also not having any battery issues. But my first day back to work is tomorrow so that will be my true test. so far I have been getting about 12 hours on a single charge.

USB charging from a laptop sucks no matter what, but I've been getting wacky battery results too.

Yesterday plugged it in at 15% and in less than a minute or so it jumped to 44%. I think the battery polling technology on this phone is messed up.

I used my portable charger at school today and it helped a good bit. It gave me an extra 50%-60% so thats not too bad considering it was only $20. I've got a 2 hour break between classes so I was using almost the whole time. With using the charger, the battery was only at 60% at the end of he break. Then I listened to music on last.fm with the screen all the way up for an hour and it was at 30% by the time I was done. Not bad IMO. it got me through a lot of Angry Birds. I'm thinking about getting a 5000-10000Mah charger just to have an ultra battery.
