My phone randomly lost some widgets, swype!

I just picked up my phone to start typing and it showed the default keyboard even though I've been using swype beta. It also removed one of my widgets (the the screen to the left of the main home screen) but not the widgets on the main home screen.

how did this happen? (How do I diagnose this?)

Swype/Swype beta are still checked under "Language & Input" but the default was somehow switched back to the main Android keyboard.

I have the same problem - some widgets stayed and some vanished during the upgrade to ICS.

Worse yet ALL widgets are now gone from any kind of selection.

Pressing the square button on the bottom line just shows Apps - Widgets are missing.

On other tablets I own that have Jelly Bean pressing that square button shows Apps and a tab for Widgets.

I think Sprint forget a Widgets tab or I installed a corrupted version of ICS - either way I'm SOL for widgets now...............

I found the widgets - just press and hold a blank spot and they are there in this version of Android.

My issue is slightly different. I've had ICS for quite a while. This just occurred randomly.
