My phone switches off buy itself . But doesn't when charging

Afternoon/Morning/evening

I own a Premio s82. I bought it this year . After a few days it started having problems : it was charging but the percentage wasn't increasing. I took it back to where I bought it and had it serviced.

After 3/4months or so it started giving me problems again even now : it randomly powers off even though it has battery life. When I power it back on the percentage decreases/increases (eg. It switched off at 20%. When I power it on its at 82%) .

I don't know if the problem is the battery or the phone itself. Should i get a battery replacement?

Welcome to Android Central! Was the phone brand new or refurbished/used? It sounds like a faulty battery. Is the phone still under warranty? Can you ask the store or the manufacturer for a replacement?

Classic signs of a bad battery unfortunately :-\ Your one shot is to try a factory reset, once in a great while they can fix problems like that... I had it work for me once with a Kindle I was going to toss.
