My phone was submerged in the water and now the screen has something like purple filter into it

My phone was submerged into the water when I was washing my hands, the phone didn't die and I thought that was fine, I was testing it's camera and speaker to see if it was fine, they were. And then suddenly the phone's screen had that purple filter on about 80% of the screen. My phone is a Samsung A21s it's now in the uncooked rice for about 6 hours now. Will this do the trick? If not, how much would a repair cost?

It will alas not do the trick. The screen is failing. There may be other damage, if not now, then later, since water damage tends to be progressive. In other words, repair may be unworthwhile.
Of course, we cannot assess that properly via a forum.

Sounds like it's going need to be repaired, depending how much damage once they open up and where u take it can go from 180 to 380.
