My phome won't fast charge anymore and cable charging only drains the battery

I accidentally dropped my Samsung Galaxy Edge+ in a mop bucket, but I retrieved ithe before it completely submerged into the water. (A little bit of water got into the charging and headphone outlet.) I tried putting it in rice, but it still won't fast charge and putting to cable charge doesn't do much. It says that it'll reach full charge in 5 hours? Help please

I am not sure if I can help you. But, I would recommend you to take the phone to your carrier's device center or Samsung Service center. They use compressed air in the charging port to clear any dust or water particles.

I had a similar issue where the fast charger doesn't work at all. they cleaned up the port and it started working.
