Hi,
I have strange problem. When I try to enter the "My Places" options within the "Location Services" section of Settings within Android, 'Settings' Crashes.
When I select this option, the phone vibrates a couple of times, the whole Settings windows crashes and the launches again.
I was able to access this area of the settings menu once before. During that session, I reset the one of the options to Wi-Fi. I have forgotten precisely what this option was called, but it concerned the way that My Places judges when you have reached your 'Home' location. I could choose between, WiFi, GPS, the location could be judged on the location of your phone in relation to the phone signal masts. I chose Wi-Fi. I have not been able to access this screen since.
Is there anyway to delete only the cache connected with this particular area and leave everything else OK? I desperately want to keep everything else intact as I have a lot of data and it would take a long time to re-instate it all.
This issue does not affect any other part of my phone's behaviour. It is just irritating that I can't access this part of the setting menu. I am prepared to live with it until the next ROM update to see if this sorts it out.
By the way, I am running Android 4.1.2 on a Samsung S3 I9300
Ta.
