Re: Best buy. Great experience.
It took 2 days and 3 hours per phone (2 phones) at Best Buy, I lost 30 GB of rollover data, lost my AT&T bonus monthly 5 GB of data and one memory card arrives in September. On the plus side we know the AT&T rep pretty good, The Best Buy mobile section know us pretty good and the Samsung rep gave us some really nice swag.
I did have to call the main AT&T customer line to get my original plan and bonus back but still ended up losing the 30 GB rollover. I walked in with 62.12 GB of data on my plan and the next day I had 30 GB remaining. It is not like I use all the data but after dropping my grandfathered unlimited 2 years ago it is almost the same thing.
The biggest issue is the Best Buy and AT&T systems do not talk to each other. As far as Best Buy goes they didn't charge us to put the screen protectors on and they really just were themselves even when the POS terminal rebooted during processing. The AT&T rep who help out on the 19th with the first phone even came in Saturday (he was off) to help process the second phone. The mobile group spent a lot of time with us while trying not to lose any other customers. We had a great time at the store.
