So I accidentally dropped my phone into a pail of water and I noticed a little water inside the screen. A minute later, the touchscreen was not functioning. As a solution, I placed my phone in uncooked rice.
After 12 hours, I checked the phone and was able to open it normally. It still has water inside. But after a few minutes the screen started flickering and went completely black. So I buried it again in uncooked rice. This time, with silica gel.
After another 30 hours, I checked once again and the same thing happened. It opened normally but after a few minutes it went black.
Is it because there still water inside? Is there any way this could be solved? Or should I consider buying a new screen?
