my s4 galaxy is telling me i am not connected to the internet when trying to sign up for bt mail

when checking phone settings it says wifi connection good and i also have it connected by usb charger

Welcome to Android Central! Do other apps access the web without difficulty, like YouTube? Are you sure the wi-fi network you're connected to is actually connected to the web? Or if it's a public network, do you have to log in to the network on a welcome screen, to accept the terms and conditions of the free network?
