my s7 edge recently starting running extremely slow

all my social sites run extremely slow and spotify plays like a scratched cd everything takes forever to load. ive tried clearing the cache and just tried a hard reset and my phone has been sitting there saying "restoring" for hours also tried this last night as well.... any help please?

How long have you had the phone and did you buy it new when you got it from a retail location

Same with mine and my wife's galaxy s7. We're on att and ever since the last update battery life has been a little worse and things don't seem to connect very well anymore. Fb messenger and fb are very slow and this app trying to open the forums is very slow. I have s Moto z unlocked and comparing side by side that phone opens and runs apps way way faster. Done the cache clear even did a reset on my wife's phone with zero change.

Heres a simple test. Keep wifi off.
Reboot phone and use it normally. DONT try to switch wifi on. If you do you will initiate a bug that i have found on my Note 4 and s7 edge.
Post 9 has the work around.
