I've managed to solve my problems by rooting and installing greenify. Proof attached

Well I am with t mobile lol -_- I live in San Diego too where I should be getting good signal strength. Is my battery effective? Or is it from the jelly bean update? My phone is running on 4.1.1.

Have you tried enabling t-mobile's native wifi-calling feature? As long as you're around wifi, your phone will connect through that to do everything (i.e. call, text, send/receive data, etc.) It's a godsend if you live in a reception black hole like I do. I'm hooked up to wifi all day at work and whenever I'm at home, so even though I get crappy service, I still get 1.5-2 days of battery life per charge.

I-disabled WCDMA in Mobile Network section and charging my phone before it reaches 10%. Charging while the phone is off is one of the best way to charge, for me. But it is up to you. Any comments about its performance? No battery savers using and any anti virus. Just floating touch.

there is no point in using juice defender and other battery save apps. they disable connectivity but the apps because they cant connect create overhead tthat negates the effect to turning it off. try following the steps given in this guide

Wifi drains my standby battery like there's no tomorrow. No such problem on my Nexus 4 (or any HTC One S).

I sincerely hope 4.3 sorts this problem out.
