Welcome to the forums!
You can try booting into Recovery mode (Home + Volume Up + Power) and clearing the system cache.
Or you can try the Kies software or a tool called Odin (just Google it - look for v3.07) to reload the firmware. If you decide to use Odin you can look for the firmware here - select your device in the drop-down list in the upper left corner.

You must have booted it up in Download mode (Home + Volume Down + Power) - it'll stay in that mode until you pull the battery, hold the Power button for about ten seconds or until the battery dies. That's normal - it's waiting for you to connect the phone to your computer and download something.and turnded it on in recovery mode... pressed the volume up key to do the OS it has now showing the screen with the android icon and says downloading... do not turn off target. yet its seems it has frozen at this point. has been on this screen for about 10mins... What should i do now?? Please help
