My Samsung Galaxy S4 Battery life is Rubbish!

I just got this a week ago and after 5 days the battery goes dead in 3 hours on stand by after using it 2 70%.. yes I have a few apps on ot and turn them off at night. what's the point of having all this stuff if I have to turn ot off at night? I never had this problem w my iPhone 3s and I had some of the same apps.
I didn't like the iPhone I had but didn't have the $ to upgrade, and like o said, I didnt like it.
this is plain dumb for a smart phone.
AND, there isn't am easy way to turn off yhr stuff, another not so smart thing for a smartphone. this is costing me a lot of time and money.

Prior to today I've gotten 14+ hours easily per day. Then, with no programs open and my phone away during my shift at work, I pick it up and this happens. View attachment 73947

I wasn't running anything, nor Google maps, and my GPS is off. Anyone have any idea?

Sorry dude but I hated my s4's battery life traded it for a iPhone 5s and love it. Best phone on the market by me

go on Amazon and get yourself an extended battery for the s4 7500 mah comes with a case and I believe it's $29, I have one it lasts for 4 days heavy usage, s 5 you can get an extended battery 6500 mAh but does not come with a case, you will have to buy that separately but they do have them on there write with the extended batteries, I think a case and battery will run you about 29 dollars total, they are awesome, go with hyperion, they rock, good luck, I know I love mine

Continue with the home button ..n I'm talking do it like 20 25 times... sounds funnny...but sometimes you will get 0...0....0...n then all of a sudden there will be for example...9...12......n so on...try doing your home button continuously for a min or so...see what happens
