My Samsung Galaxy S5 won't charge!

I washed my sheets this morning and I didn't realize my phone went with it. It was still putting in water when I realized and promptly took it out. I thought it was fine and put it in rice for a little while anyway. It wasn't until later that I realized the sound was more quiet and it wouldn't charge. I've read to put it in rice for two days, does it really take that long? Is there any other way to get it to charge?

Let it dry for a couple days. Rice should work also. No guarantees though. Keep us informed.
