My samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 is malfuntioning.. pls help

my samsung 7.0 tablet is not switching on. i woke up in the morning knowing that I still have 50 percent left on my tabs battery. i tried holding the power button for 10 seconds and it switch on and it hanged in "SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 2 7.0". i try to leave it for an hour but it still hanged. so i pressed the power button and hold the volume down for 10 seconds and it switch off. when I tried charging it, there's no sign that it is charging. what should I do ? pls help.
