My Samsung just went deleted everything on my phone how do I fix?

I'm currently away on vacation pretty sure all my pictures I took are gone. Contacts, itterantera, flight info, confirmation details etc. How can I get all this back. Or who can I call for seriously ******* up my trip.

I unveiled my phone on airplane mode so I don't get charged an arm and a leg. I'm sure if it backs up when I'm not connected to WiFi I resigned into my Google account hoping that would help. But nothing came back

Tell you if your account is backed up. VZW has an app that does it automatically and if you purchase one in a VZW store they turn it on by default.

How does a phone just delete everything?

Another question for provide. One way would be remotely from Google if phone is set up for remote wipe. Mine is.

If you had a secure lock screen enabled it has a feature that factory resets your phone after a certain number of failed attempts to unlock it. Unless you disabled this in your lock screen settings, I think it is enabled by default. Maybe that's what happened?
