My Samsung Note 5 Chrome app bookmark sync phrase is missing, how can I get it back?

samsung note 5 chrome app bookmark sync phrase missing

Can't find the settings to enter the bookmark sync phrase on samsung note 5. I had previously s4, and it have it. Why Samsung Note 5 chrome doesn't have it. Can't find anything on the net about it. It's hard for me to get my bookmarks that I created for years now on my samsung note 5 phone.

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by a bookmark sync phrase? Are the bookmarks on the S4 on the Chrome browser or the stock Internet browser? If they're on Chrome, they should be syncing to your Google account in the cloud, and should also sync to the new phone's Chrome browser. On each phone, go to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google account], and make sure Chrome is checked on.

you probably didn't know about it, it's also protect your password you save on every site using chrome, so it's really a security that chrome/google implemented but i'm upset with samsung note 5 that they didn't provide it. there's no settings on google account on chrome you mentioned above.

Are you talking about Chrome's ability to remember your password on a given site?

The settings menu I was talking about was the System Settings, not the Chrome browser settings. Exit out of Chrome to the homescreen, go to the System Settings, then Accounts, tap Google, then select your Google account. Look for Chrome there, and make sure it's checked on, which means your Chrome data in the cloud is syncing with your phone's Chrome browser.

There is no "Accounts" under System on the Note 5; it is under Personal, and has only gmail listed under Google. There is no Chrome, although I am using Chrome on the device.
