My samsung Note 7 has frozen with the starting screen after few hours of use.

I have to wait till the battery drains off completely. Very much dissappointed at the poor quality of the New Note 7 phone.

In my S7 edge you have to press 3 buttons simultaniosly (Power+VolumeDown+Home) and hold it for 5-10sec. It supposed to reboot your phone. No need to wait. Try it.

You don't need to wait. Just hold the power and volume down button at the same time for about 7-10 seconds and it will reboot the phone for you.

You need to wait until it reboots. I had to do this a few times today bit it's all ok now.

Did you do a hard reboot by holding power and volume down for several seconds?
