samsung s4 mediatek needs hard reset

my son ut a lock code on the phone and i tried to enter using my gmail info but it isn't working.
please how do i do a hard reset of the phone?? it's my daughter's

Wait, "MediaTek"? Idk if there's one, but i prove that it might be fake. Like, seriously? I haven't heard a Galaxy S4 with MediaTek.

EDIT : I forgot to mention how to hard reset lol. Hold Vol Up + Home + Power and select Wipe Data / Factory Reset
