My Samsung S6 is saying it doesn't recognise my fingerprint and my password is wrong. What should I do?

my samsung s6 is saying it doesnt recognise my fingerprint and my password is wrong

It has been working fine since getting the phone only having to use password once . thee was an update yesterday to 5.1 or similar so not sure if this has an impact. im sure my password is correct but saying its wrong... also saying I can unlock via google account but haven't set that up .. at least I don't think I have

No Google account, wrong password, no fingerprint? Sounds like it's not your phone.
