My Samsung S6 won't turn on - Blue light stays on.what could the problem be?

My Samsung S6 won't turn on - Blue light stays on..

Hi

While i was charging the phone with lead to my PC i turned the phone on, Then blue light LED came on and nothing else happens next.. i have tried all the buttons, and everything fails. I even wiped the Data on the phone too!

When i try pressing the different buttons to start the phone it comes up as normal with samsung galaxy s6 powered as android then after that just black screen with the blue led light stuck on, but when i charge it it goes to charge screen when i press power button and down..

Any other advice ??

Welcome to Android Central! Leave the phone plugged into a wall outlet for at least 4-6 hrs undisturbed. Then try powering on again, by pressing and holding Power for at least 15-20 seconds.

Thanks for the reply back B. Diddy! The phone didn't come with the U.K Charger so is it okay to be charging it with the USB lead to my PC? Thanks once again

Hold the power button, right side, and volume down, left side and reboot.

Charging from your PC USB port will be much slower than from a wall outlet. Do you have any kind of USB charger that fits UK sockets?

Does it boot into recovery?
Have you recently updated your OS?
When you plug it into your pc, does it recognize your device?

I'm having the same issue! Charged it up to 100% plugged in to my macbook then wanted to start it and....nothing...only a blue light. tried every button combination possible...help help help, please....!!!

hi i dropped my phone yesterday and its giving me the black screen of death and the blue light flashes or the phone loads ten heads to the black screen and blue light blinks ... ive tried to reboot if i do it comes on however nothing responsed on the screen ... what do i do?

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, the phone might be bricked. If the above discussion didn't help, then you probably have to contact Samsung (or a Samsung rep at a Best Buy store), or bring the phone to a repair shop. Sorry!
