my samsung S7 edge screen is malfunctioning with no damage done to it

Hi there i purchased a samsung S7 edge and after about two months the screen started to flicker and turn green ( sometimes it went completely black) on the back of the phone there is a crack which happened after i walked into a table with the phone in my pocket even after this crack the phone worked fine for about a month . i sent the phone back to base (the belgian phone company where i bought the phone) they took a look at it and told me it will cost 433 euro to repair the phone, they said the problem was the crack on the back. Can anyone tell me if a crack at the back of the phone can cause the front screen to not work and if so 433 euro seems very steep for a back screen replacement?

1. did you try to factory reset your phone?
2. see if you can buy warranty from samsung dot com - it will cover your front screen(2 times), but you have to read their terms about back cover it may cover this too.
it will be cheaper than 433 euros, around 230...
