That's what happened when I turn my screen off and plug the charging ..

I have never seen that. I know that Samsung's show a battery like that while charging with the phone off but my phone doesn't do that. Are you running a custom ROM? That may be a feature baked in.

I don't think that I used a Rom, I don't even know how to use it, it's really annoying, I want to remove this stupid battery 😭

unfortunately, it seems you have failed to provide us thus far with enough information with regards to what you did to your mobile device to be of any assistance.

it appears to me you haven't reflected long enough on what changes you forced upon your phone that resulted in that battery image, hence your incapacity to share with us crucial hints that might aide us in pinpointing your problem.

personally, i have little hope that going forward such information will make itself available, so you might want to consider resetting your phone to factory settings to solve your battery image issue.

I actually have the exact same issue, but it never surfaced until after the 4.3 update (AT&T). I do not jailbreak this device, and know my way around an OS. I also had this occur before changing any of my settings in 4.3. In other words, this was a default behavior on my device after 4.3. I will post if I figure out how to turn it off completely... see below.

I will add, however, that it only appears if I do a full power down to charge more deeply, and mine goes away & screen turns completely off after a few minutes. OP should check his or her screen settings & report back.

Exactly. I stated in my earlier post that it is normal for that to happen if the phone is turned off.

You can't turn it off. It's a feature baked into the phone and will show every time you plug your phone in when powered off for a few minutes.

When you power down your phone and then put it to charge that is what you will see.

I don't doubt you guys and I know some phones do that but I can say that my Sprint HTC One does not do that when charging while powered off.

just powered off my AT&T One and plugged it in. I get the charging icon. Appears at full brightness for a minute, maybe more then the screen dims for another 30 seconds or so, then the screen turns off. I have never charged my phone while off before just now so I can't say if this is unique to 4.3 or if it always did this (not sure I'll ever charge again with it off either).

I'm sorry, but there's another people understand what i'm suffering from, it's a big battery appears after i plug the charger keeps my screen on all the time of charging, they told me about the awake mode but there's something like that on htc device, my phone still new, i bought it before 2 days only, i didn't use any ROMs or updates , its version is 4.1.2 , my issue is how to turn my screen off while charging, by the way when the battery appears , i press the power button and its directed me to my lock screen ..

Is that enough?
P.s there's a photo i posted if you want to see how the battery shows up on my screen !!
