My SD card corrupts files.

I am using an LG G3 and I have tried multiple 64GB SD cards to no avail. When I try to place files on the SD card they corrupt, but only when the SD card is in the phone are they corrupted. I am using a SanDisk SD card that does not repeat this issue when used in other devices. I have tried reformatting the card multiple times, and I have tried adding files to the SD card from my computer directly, from my computer using the phone as a port, and over wireless using Google Play Music. Each method corrupts my music files as soon as the SD card is inserted into the phone.

Re: My SD card corrupts files.

Does the problem appear when you plug/unplug the card when the phone is off ?

It does. I mount/unmount the SD card every time I use the SD card and I have tried plugging/unplugging with the device shut off. The problem persists.

Re: My SD card corrupts files.

Are the SD cards the same brand or different? Because the problem could be related to the brand card if not a reputable brand.

Re: My SD card corrupts files.

The first was a cheap card that was not a reputable brand but the one I am currently trying to use is a SanDisk, which i have had good experience with before. This issue also does not repeat when I use the SD card on another mobile device like my old Motorola Droid 4.

Do you have any Apps and/or App Data that are stored on your sd card?? It could be possible that your devices apps are causing the corruption when the apps try to index/look for the data in the sd card. Either try removing the apps that you had stored in your sd card or just simply factory reset your device. Hope you get it resolved!

Re: My SD card corrupts files.

I have formatted the card multiple times, so there is no data on the card as of now.
