My smart lock option on the LG G4 is gone , how can i get it back

I've been using my new LG G4 for 2 weeks and I've been liking the smart lock feature like trusted face and trusted devices but yesterday this feature stopped working and when i checked i didn't find this option at all !

Did you try disabling then re enabling your I locking choice? (Pin, pattern, etc)

It happened to me as well. Check that smart lock is enabled in the trusted agents under security

I had that happen to me also after manually updating Google Play Services. I uninstalled updates for Play Services, updated again via Play Store, and it worked again.

Just quit working on me today too. Nothing I did resolved it. Finally did a restart with a battery pull and it started working again.

Often, when certain services are installed on the LG G4, you will lose some functions of Smart Lock. Mine worked fine until I installed Microsoft Exchange on my phone, then I could only use a pin or letter password on the lock screen. I uninstalled MS Exchange, and all functions returned. I need the email on my phone, so I reinstalled Exchange, and again lost some Smart lock functions. You just need to decide if you want the apps that disable it or not, as sometimes you can't have both.

If you use Nine for Exchange email you can use app level security rather than device level security. Nine is a great Exchange app although it does cost $9.99. I paid for it with Google Play credits I've acquired over time though...

Thanks that worked for me. I did not realize I disabled the google smart lock in trusted agents.
