My storage is full, & I cant figure out why/how to clear it up!!

Okay, it all started when i decided to try to find a 'free version' of the Play store's 'Baldur's gate'. Long story short i started downloading a .apk and .zip file. The .apk finished, however, about halfway thru the .zip, it stopped, and i received 'low data' alerts on my LG K7, (Metropcs).

Now ive only got like a few hundred MB of storage space, when i KNOW i had ATLEAST a gig or two before the files. The apk file was only a little file but the zip was 2gigs i believe. Now remember i said it stopped/failed halfway thru. I fully cancelled the download, cleared it off my phone etc. Apparently, I dont know, the files that DID download, stayed on the phone even after the download stopped..?

Storage says Miscellaneous is taking almost 4gigs. Apps are taking like 2gigs. Downloads taking 3. So first i went to apps, uninstalled as much apps as i could that i wasnt using, and also cleared as much data as i could. Helped but not much.

I deleted all my photos, videos, along with anything else i dont care about. Which leaves like, besided all the basics that came with the phone? Leaves 3 games i downloaded from app store. They work fine, theyre not the issue.

I dont know how to fix this. Thanks for any help

If you have enough room to install a small app, download DiskUsage to see what's taking up space.

Also, are you saying your Download folder has 3 gbs of stuff? Anything worth keeping in there? You might want to dump what you don't need.
