My system locks up.

I am running Roborn Rom on my Optimus S, after unlocking the phone to access the main menu the phones locks up. It will usually clear up in 20 to 40 seconds. What I want to know is how can I figure out what is causing the problem? I am running Go Launcher on my phone, it works more like Nrom and I like that better than stock Reborn Rom.

Or you can flash drew's cm7, that's what I did. I can not be more happy. So much faster.

It sounds like the CPU may be underclocked and it isn't waking up fast enough for you. Change your CPU min to 245 and your governor to "Ondemand" and see if that helps. Whenever I had my CPU at 122 using SetCPU that would happen to me, changed it and it works fine.

I had the same exact problem, phone would freeze up. Do you have a CPU monitor? I bet its sitting a almost 100% most of the time and might drop down to 35% capacity. What I did to fix it was cleared all caches, then run the system debug zip & them flash Drew's CM7, but if you're on reborn flash reborn and see how it works. Then restore apps from market instead of TB.
Now my phone has 0 lag CPU now sits at @ 9% usage when idle and is just a hell a lot snapper.
Here is the system debug zip you need to flash before flashing rom.

Pretty much the steps listed in my faq. I don't use CPU monitors. They usually cause issues. It might be helpful to read through the faq anyway. I mean, that is what its there for.....
