My tablet is at full charge but it won't turn on, how do I fix this?

my tablet is full charged but it won't turn on, how do i fix this?

I kept it plugged into my laptop while it was in use, when I came back the screen was grey and it wouldn't respond to the buttons commands, I've tried charging it and plugged it back into my laptop. Nothing is changing and I think I have a bug.

Welcome to Android Central! Which device? Have you tried plugging it into a wall outlet? Laptop USB ports typically put out much less current than a wall outlet, so it's possible the battery could still have been discharging despite being plugged in (e.g., if there was some process running that was outstripping the meager charge that the laptop was providing).

Plug it into a wall outlet for at least 4 hours before trying to power on, and let us know if it still isn't working.
