I think the phone is flawed in some form either it has the same battery as the N7 or has the bootloop issues as other LG phones. I mean think about it LG is in a great position to take advantage of Samsung's misfortune but not a word about the V20 and from what I see it seems to be a nice phone and could sell well for them I like LG had the G3 but they keep missing the boat therefore sealing there own fate in the mobile market.

The G5 never had any bootloader issues like the v10?

A lot of spectulation

I don't think there's any deep conspiracy here. I suspect it's more a symptom of a company that doesn't have the well-oiled marketing and production juggernauts that Apple and Samsung do. This is basically the same stunt they pulled with the G5...announced in February and released in April. HTC is good at that too! I was briefly tempted to get the iPhone 7 plus to fill the Note 7 sized hole in my life but have decided to hold firm for the V20....hopefully before Christmas 😉

Whatever the reason for the delay is it's no excuse for them to not have pre-orders going, which should have started right after the event earlier in the month. No reason for them to not have pricing available for the device as well. Release date can come later but you have people hyped about the phone and that are eager to get their hands on it and you need to take advantage of it and not be silent.

Can't agree more. You have to give something especially when you're trying to bounce back from the perceived blunder in the LG G5. You just have to do better than this. Sparing any bootloop issues this may finally be the phone I keep for two years plus. The V10 has proved to be that phone except for I am on a second unit due to bootloop.

I hear talk about this bootloop all the time but I owned both the G4(5 months) and the V10(6 months) and never experienced this. I'm guessing it wasn't something that affected all units?

Not all but many. I follow this guy in Instagram that has beautiful pictures captured with the V10. I had told him about my bootloop and how I had to replace mine. Come to find out he was on his third device but just wouldn't give up the V10 for anything else. I think the G5 is the only one not hugely affected by it but hopefully it's a thing of the past.

I agree with you. I think it has more to do with marketing than with anything conspiracy-related.

I like this tweet by LG....

I guess October 21st for the release date at least for T-Mobile but no pricing yet or even a confirmed date of October 21st. And the Samsung Galaxy is just sitting there with a lifetime supply of storage(256gb microSD card or VR headset on T-Mobile) tempting people to pick it up. I need to at least know the specifics soon or I will take that deal. I don't mind waiting until the 21st but at least give us something LG.

Keeping the replaceable battery and ability to add all the storage memory I'll ever be able to use was a key factor in my switching to the V10 over going with the Note 5. I'm very happy with my V10 and was going to keep it for another year. However, LG has added just enough features to get me to update to the V20. I don't really need or use the pen, so that was never a factor. However, one deciding factor that was HUGE was the price point. I saved over $200 with the V10, and it looks like I'll save about $300 with the V20 (if we ever get the pricing from LG) over the latest Note. I can wait.

First off.. with the v10.... IMO was the most underrated smartphone in 2015. Even some of the top competitor review companies didn't even give it a score rating which I found odd. As a professional photographer and cinematographer, the quality and features Combined of the camera for that year's release is unmatched, especially in the cinematography department with the Cinematic 24p mode! Was tired of using Filmic Pro, that was best suited for an iPhone and only had half the features working for some of my other android phones such as the s7 edge or when I had the note 7. On top of that, the audio recording and output was amazing. I have the Blue Microphone MoFi's with the built in Amp that allows you to not have an external DAC rubber-banded to your smartphone in order to get the most out of your expensive headphones that more than 50% of buyers don't realize that they are not getting the absolute best potential in sound/soundstage/bass/treble/etc.. from their headphones without an amplifier/DAC. The V10 changed the game with that (though some other companies may have tried it before but not as powerful or fine tuned as the V10) and gave me wonderful sounding audio on my long weekend drives to and back home for work which totaled 4-5 hours.

NOW with the V20.. and it's "i-don't-know-what-the-H-is-taking-them-so-long-approach" release...... The LG V20 is a well thought out and amazing upgrade! yah there are some quibbles about screen choice, lack of front facing speakers on a highly acclaimed top notch audio converting/recording/sounding phone, battery mah small increase, not waterproof or water resistant, Lack of Dual Pixel Phase Detection Autofocus like the Galaxy Line (that may be exclusively patent pending to Samsung) etc.. but when you weigh out the pros and cons against the competition.. the Pros outweigh the cons.. and i feel LG is playing the marketing game smart by giving soooo many Pre-Production Review Units to be reviewed by many of the top smartphone reviewers/vloggers/bloggers in the industry even after their first Official Apple-Esque style Launch that also took place in San Francisco 1 day before the iPhone 7 and until recently without an official release date for weeks... though LG has received heavy criticism for not taking advantage of the recent downfall of Samsung and their flagship Note 7 Worldwide recall... they looked passed it because they BELIEVE in their product and are entertaining a Niche market. I believe all the reviewers are giving LG all the right feedback they need to finalize and correct as much of the negative feedback they can that is possible in order to have a very well planned out release. Many people will disagree with me.. but sometimes.. you need to take a step back.. put yourselves in their shoes.. and see it from another standpoint. Good Job LG! They say "You want what you can't have!" and you guys' are definitely making many want the LG more by keeping us on our toes.. well at least for me you are!

I agree with you! The V10 and the V20 are very good options. And less expensive than other flagships/premium devices.
