My Twitter app has gone blank, how can I fix it?

Twitter app goes blank

I believe this occurred right after a recent Twitter update to my Galaxy Tab 10.1. When I try to start Twitter, the screen turns white and then after a few seconds of that, it goes back to the homescreen. Twitter used to work fine on this. I uninstalled and reinstalled (after shut-down and restart) several times to no avail. I can't find a way to install an older version of Twitter and find little help on the Twitter site. Thanks for any suggestions.
