So my wife's EVO finally arrived in the mail today from Sprint. She had been eyeing the EVO I've had for the last week or so and was quite excited to have her own. I had run upstairs as she began to open up the UPS package, when I heard her shout, "Mine looks different than yours."
I ran back down, only to discover . . .
They had sent us a Hero instead.
So now I get to fool with sending that thing back to Sprint while getting dropped to the very end of the waiting list for what I hope to be an actual EVO to arrive at some point. I've been a very happy Sprint customer for a long while, but this gaffe was quite disappointing.
(And to note: It was confirmed on Sprint's end that nowhere in the process of ordering the phone was there a misunderstanding in my pronunciation of "EVO," thinking I had said "Hero." They just sent the wrong phone.)
