My verizon update

There's an update for the my verizon application in the market. Has anyone tried it? I don't want to screw up the version that came with MR2.

How come it still says "not for HTC Thunderbolt" in the description?

If you already have the MR2 update then you should have the My Verizon app on the phone. When I went to Market-My Apps, it didn't show that I had the My Verizon app. What I had to do was go to market and do a search for My Verizon. It will be the first on the list. When I clicked it, the next page showed update. I clicked that and it updated. Hope that helps.

I did that too, but reading the information before clicking update, it still said not for the HTC thunderbolt. I guess they just forgot to update that information

Hmm going to try this now. Oh and I got the new market this morning without sideloading it.

It actually seems to have fixed a bug that many of us TB owners had with the data tracker widget on the MR2 version of My Verizon.

The new update seems to be working just fine for me.

I updated it from the Market a couple of days ago and now I get FC notices all the time. The widget on my home screen was blank do I removed it and reinstalled it. It worked fine for a couple of hours then the FC notices began popping up again. The data widget seems to be updating once I reinstalled it on the home screen. At least it looks like it's working. I can open it fine and see my usage, etc.
