My voicmail notification wont go away...

I tried listening to it and all it did was say you have the wrong password and so I kept trying my password... And then I just finally gave up and came on this website so I'm wondering how can I get this notification off my top tab it is very annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! I would suggest contacting your carrier and seeing if they can help recover or change your voicemail password. Then listen to the voicemail, and the notification should go away.
