I just got an iphone and switched to it with a sim card on straight talk...my other phone is a galaxy precedent. I noticed that it was acting funny days before the switch. messages not going thru..etc. well, while getting my iphone programmed and having to add the apn numbers so it would work, i looked at the vpn settings on the precedent..it is blank and i am sure there were numbers there before. I did not erase them as i am technologically challenged. I had someone else doing the iphone setup..but now, I want to let my sister use the precedent. I want it to be correctly running when i give it to her..what happened to the vpn numbers and do i need to replace them? How? Thanks. Joanna

No, blanks fine.
Just factory reset, if ur rooted and romed, which I assume not do that from cwm
Call st and deactivate the phone and then activate it with her there in the same phone call. Let them know what ur teying to do. Have her ready with money on plastic to get a month service right away. Make sure its working.

She can refer to this post to root, rom, and do all the good stuff to device.

Its safe, I did it to mine, and this guide is noob frendly. Also if theire are any problems, since I wrote this guide, pm me and I will help solve said issue
