At the sprint store this morning and she has a brand new S4 in hand! Not one person at the iPhone display the whole time we were in the store! Just had to throw that in.

Well Welcome to both of you. Let your wife see this to transition from iPhone to the GS4

Also have her visit our Samsung Galaxy S4 forum and download the full users guide for her new phone:

This is the link for the Manual and will take you to the forum.

Lastly if of course she wants to stay mobile with Android Central please have her download our app so she always has us as her guide:

Take care and stop by often. :)

Sprint sold 2.2 million iPhones in Q4 of 2012 their highest number ever.
Looks like I'll have to get over to a Sprint store to get a look at the S4, I would not use Sprint but if they have an S4 on display I'd like to see it.

Ha ha, let me guess, you're not married, right? Because if I referred my wife to any of that instead of addressing it myself, I'd be sleeping on the couch for a week.

I just looked at two S4's at an AT&T store that were side by side with an HTC One next to them. The buttons on the S4 are much better than on the S 3 or Note 2 and the build quality is better than I expected too. Even though I have a Note 2 I've always been very critical of Samsung build quality but I don't really have an issue here although I still prefer the HTC One. I also prefer the HTC One screen as Samsung's always look so cartoonish and blown out but you have to appreciate the size and minimal bezel on the S4.
What surprised me was lag. Lag when switching screens and lag when opening apps. This has to be because of the heavy Touchwiz layer. Pretty pathetic that Samsung had Jelly Bean and high spec hardware to work with and you still have lag. Most of the Touchwiz is there for marketing and ail never be used yet it bogs down the phone.
This lag will be especially apparent to iPhone users who have been used to a lag free experience since the first iPhone.
Since the HTC One is not going to be on Verizon I will most likely replace my Note 2 with an S4 and use Clean Rom or similar to get rid of the lag but I shouldn't have to do that. Then when the Note 3 comes out I'll probably replace the S 4 with that.
The iPhone 5 stays, I have reason to have both iOS and Android devices and have since the beginning of both.

My wife had a droid charge and switched to an iPhone 4s on the reccomendation of friends. She immediately regretted it and has been anxiously awaiting the s4
