Question My wife's iPhone unable to consistently call my Pixel Pro 6

My wife constantly complains that when she calls me, especially in the evenings she gets an unobtainable message. It isn't consistent.. sometimes she can get through.. I can always ring her.. we are on the same network in the U.K. - O2. I cannot find anything in my settings that might explain this.. anybody got any thoughts? Would it be the network?

Do you happen to have Do Not Disturb scheduled to turn on at certain times?

Not as far as I am aware.. I wasn't aware you could set it by times.. where do I look please

Look at the iPhone call log 1st to confirm your phone is the one dialed.
Are you /she using wifi calling or a VPN, or both?

No VPN used . My phone switches between network and WiFi (we have poor signal in the house.. although 4G) . My wife's iPhone is always network...

It can still be on a schedule. Go to Settings>Sound & Vibration>Do Not Disturb>Schedules, and see if any of those toggles are turned on.

Nothing is turned on...

The Pixel 6 line was a bit notorious for a not-so-great cell modem. How's the cell signal when she isn't able to reach you?

But this still happens when you're on wi-fi calling?

Go to Settings>Network & Internet>Calls & SMS, then tap your carrier under Wi-Fi Calling, and then Calling Preference. Make sure the preference is set to Call over Wi-fi. (If it's set to prefer mobile network, it might inappropriately try to rely on your weak signal.)

It was set to use network as a preference.. I've just changed it to WiFi ... Let's see if that works..
