My x keeps going in and out of wifi...

I have an x with gingerbread and recently it has started going in and out of wifi. I have to turn off wifi and then turn back on to get to work. Ive taken it in and was told there is nothing wrong. Please help! Its driving me nuts!

you need to reset your router security settings. Look it up under droid x wifi issues. I had the same problem too.

What does this mean? I realize that these are security protocols; is it to change the router from wap to wap2 psk?
