My YouTube app suddenly stopped providing 1080p option.

Yesterday my LG G3s requested an update where everything seemed to change a bit. My buttons changes to triangle, square and circle. Some other animations as well. I then used the YouTube app and realized there was no 1080p option anymore. Not only that but videos that have only 1080p quality (yes there are some of those) are suddenly "unavailable on this device". Please help, I've tried everything.

Welcome to the G3 forum. :)

Go to Settings, Apps, All, scroll to the YouTube app, and check what version you are using.
While you are there, you could try Uninstall Updates if you like, and then Power Off and Restart the phone. See if that fixes it. If no good, you can always download the latest update again.

I've tried that actually and it seems no matter what version I have active ever since the lollipop upgrade my youtube app just won't provide anything above 720p quality.
