My Youtube Video/Audio are out of sync

[Android Central Question]

Just today I was watching YT and everything was fine but then my screen suddenly freezes until a white box says "Updating" and then goes away after a second. Then after that my videos would freeze for a couple seconds (the audio still going) and then when it started again it everything was out of sync. I have tried to look up the problem but all the answers for other people did not work for me. I have an LG Tribute 2 if that helps.

I assume you've already tried rebooting. What happens if you go to Settings>Apps, select YouTube, then Clear Cache/Clear Data?
