My ZTE Android phone re-booted many times, then reset itself and is showing only Chinese characters. How can I fix this?

my zte android phone re-booted many times, then reset itself and is showing only chinese characters

was at work and had placed the zte android phone on the desk next to my files as i went to work on a story. after a few minutes i noticed that the phone kept rebooting so i thought that it was upgrading the apps/software in the phone.

minutes later i glanced across and saw that chinese characters were flashing across the screen, so i took the phone and shut it down.

after about five minutes i restarted it but to no avail; the chinese characters are still there and i am unable to use the phone.

what can i do to maybe reload the necessary software unto the phone and get it working properly.

Check on XDA Forums - you want to flash the stock ROM. (Back everything up first, though. Flashing a ROM wipes the phone.)
