Mysterious issue cropped up overnight??

I think it did an update last night as well, not 100% sure as I can't really use it to check.

Has anyone seen anything like this? I had to buy a new phone since I can't be without it -- but I'd love it get it working again!

One guy I showed said it was probably a memory or cpu overheated issue or something?

let me know if you have any ideas, im going to see if I can get a usbc to hdmi working and see if that display has issues as well.

Try starting it in safe mode and see what it does. Power off. Then power on and when Samsung logo pops up, hold volume down until it boots up.

I'm no genius but that seems like a hardware defect

yes thats mine. I sent it for repair to samsung, when I plug in external display it seems to work fine so maybe its just the screen afterall? even though I didnt drop it or anything within the last few months.
