Haha gotta love his enthusiasm.

I've got it running on mine as well. Does it seem to lag a bit? Also occasionally it won't have any info for mins used or txt, etc. I have to close and reopen to refresh.

after downloading the file, how do i install it?

if downloading through the internet browser, go to your Downloads tab in your browser, tap the downloaded file, then tap install

or,

download the file,
then--using a file explorer (astro, es file explorer, etc):
open file explorer, navigate to mnt/sd/download or mnt/sd/downloads
and tap the downloaded file
tap install

Has anyone download from the link posted on Droid Life? They say its an official version.

Download: My Verizon App for HTC Thunderbolt, The Official One That Works - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

Link was taken down from that post (says verizon asked for it to be taken down) but if you scroll through the comments it got mirrored before the official was taken down.

Just in case....

Just long press the screen>Widgit>My Verizon

Oh, in that case, I already did that. I thought there was a data widget...a widget like current widget. I guess to see data usage, you have to always login.

Does it not show data usage? It shows usage for something, right? Are you on wifi right now? Turn wifi off and try it.

All I have is the little white silhouette of a person in a red square. I turned off wifi,...same thing. Doesn't show data usage. I have to login to see it.
