I agree with you, and it's all subjective really. I'm a little more picky with my camera and pic quality than others. Coming from the Galaxy-S line, the camera is one of the few areas where I feel that the Nexus falls short. I feel it's really an LG issue though. I used to work for LG's MobileComm US HQ and I've never been very impressed with their camera quality.
