Anyone having luck with getting this app to run smoothly. Most games are unplayable for me. I feel like finding the right OS/Kernel combination could make all the difference. Anyone running smoothly out there?

Awesome dude, thanks for the advice. I had tried turning it up a little, but cranking it all the way works great. Thanks

i wanna get this emulator--

but so many of the reviews are from Evo owners who say that you can't play nearly anything BUT mario 64 (my favorite game anyways)

have you guys had any problems yet? (obviously apart from the current problem first addressed in this thread)

Mario Kart 64 with the settings up to 10 did not help what so ever. Still unplayable

Just tried Super Mario 64 and it was smooth.

Starfox is a pretty rough. Harvest Moon plays pretty well. Zelda is also a little rough, though probably playable

I also found better results when overclocking. I use setCPU, with an overclocking kernel. I set it to 1.19ghz, and set the governer to performance.

There are at least 3 games that are pretty playable.

Mario 64
Mario Kart 64
Star Fox 64

I have tried several others, and at the moment, there isn't really anything else that runs fast enough to be enjoyable that I have found. But these 3 games alone are worth my $6.

Mario Kart also works well if you use the sensor as the analog joystick. It lets you use the trigger easier.

yeah, i read many comments stating that Hyrul (spelling--prob botched) couldn't even be entered, rendering that portion of the game unplayable
