Dear all,

I'm new here, long time IOS user who is thinking about switching to Android for price-performance reasons.

I will be in the US soon, but I live in Northern Europe. While I'm in the US, I was thinking about buying a Nexus 7 LTE version because it is significantly cheaper in the US compared to home.

But ... are there different hardware editions of the N7 LTE for different world markets? Can I be sure the a US N7 LTE will work with the networks back home, and will get OTA Android updates (my carriers isn't locking anything down, it is a question about Googles hardware editions and policies)?

And as a follow up question, which nationwide retail stores generally stock the N7 LTE in their shops?

Thank you very much :)

I found this...http://www.bestbuy.com/site/google-nexus-7-lte-32gb-unlocked-black/1846014.p?id=1219065990469&skuId=1846014&st=categoryid$pcmcat209000050006&cp=1&lp=4&contract_desc=

There are also wifi devices for sale in many places.

As for where to get the wifi ones, Best Buy like in the link above, WalMart, Target, etc.

@Golfdriver97 thank you very much, that's a good find, thanks!

Anyone on the hardware versions -- are US N7 LTE's the same as EU ones, or are the differences in for example the radios used?
